The Savoy Hotel London, originally built in 1889 reopened its doors in 2010 after a full renovation project. Oakdene provided French polishing and decorating over the 2 years of the final stages of the project.
Project Information
At the time of completion the Savoy was Oakdene’s largest project to date. At the peak of our involvement, we had over 80 decorators and French polishers onsite.
For this project, the main contractor was Chorus Group PLC and was our largest so far at the time at £1.6 Million.
After its re-opening, a television program was made by the BBC documenting the restoration and renovation of this historic landmark building.
Thanks to Oakdene for their fantastic work on this projectAndrew Heaver, Managing Director of Chrorus Group
